Berlin, Germany - 20th December 2011. The Williamson Dynmaics Grand Prix Team held a lavish press conference today at the team's new base of operations in Berlin, Germany. despite the team's overall operational headquarters remaining at their technical centre in Lancaster, UK. The team's GPVWC Superleague campaign will be fought from a new facility in Germany's capital. However, despite the team's best efforts the main focus of the day did not fall on the new location or impressive array of new sponsors and affiliates - which include Deutsche Bahn most prominently.

The hot topic for all the gathered media was the rumours linking Finnish stalwart, Janne Tanksanen, with a lead drive with the team in 2011. Team prinicpal Ben Williamson was quick to refute these claims.

"I'm still puzzled and confused as to why this rumour refuses to disappear" stated Williamson to the gathered media. "Yes, I won't deny we made contact and had some very productive discussion with Janne, he did end up representing us for one race in the GPO where he performed excellently. He was impressed with the team and we were impressed with him and initially we did believe a deal was possible, but Janne has since made it clear that he wishes to remain at Nordsjoen racing for the 2011 season, and we respect his decision. It's a fine operation at Nordsjoen and we wish Janne and his team all the best for the 2011 season."

Following on from this rumour had circulated the paddock regarding WDGP's possible signings, with names such as Sam Millar, Wayne Mullins and Ryan Walker all making the rumor list from established GPVWC names, however the general consensus in the team is that at least one new name from outside the established GPVWC ranks is likely.

"We have been delighted by some of the responses from established GPVWC names to our search for drivers in the coming season, its going to prove a difficult decision and one we will take time over to ensure we make the best possible decision."
