Midnight Motorsport has announced the extension of a sponsorship deal with SimCraft, who now hold the coveted position of title sponsor for the reigning championship team.
The deal comes off the back of a double championship year for the Midnight Motorsport team, a year in which the SimCraft brand was treated to a wealth of media exposure as it adorned the sidepods of the highly successful Midnight MM-02 machine.

These latest developments will see the team compete under the ;SimCraft Midnight Motorsport; moniker, with the team today releasing images of the altered pre-season testing livery of the MM-03 ahead of the final test later this coming week in Jerez - the once solely red and white car now sporting sizeable SimCraft branding.

Team Owner Nick Rowland had the following to say;

"We have enjoyed a strong partnership with SimCraft for the past two years. Having met both Emmanuel (Baako) and Sean (Yoder) - Motorsport Simulation Consultants for SimCraft - at Road Atlanta in 2011 we have kept in close contact, which has allowed us to build a solid friendship."

"Given this friendship, we felt that both SimCraft and Midnight Motorsport could both benefit further through a more extensive sponsorship agreement than we had in place for the 2012 season. It is a privilege to be able to represent the SimCraft brand, and an opportunity of which I am very proud."

Emmanuel Baako and Sean Yoder issued the following, joint statement, on behalf of SimCraft.

"Midnight Motorsport started the 2012 season by putting their new cars in P1 and P3 for the start of the first race. We at SimCraft had a very good idea that we would be proud to associate ourselves with Midnight Motorsport before the season got underway, but as the 2012 season unfolded pride turned into astonishment as we were treated to a car with our logo featured on it dominating the GPVWC Superleague."

"It is with great pleasure that SimCraft announces the extension of our relationship with Midnight Motorsport into the 2013 GPVWC season. This year sees the team taking on the challenges of constructor and engine manufacturer with their new Potentia power plant."

"SimCraft is proud to be along for the ride in the 2013 season; if 2012 was any indication, Midnight Motorsport is just getting warmed up!"

With the first race of the season now just under three weeks away, Midnight Motorsport have announced that the official launch date of the team as the 21st February; just seven days before the lights go out in Melbourne, Australia.
