GPVWC Simracing are delighted to announce that WTF1 will join our flagship series, the Superleague, as a Title Partner for the 2018 season, starting from next week's Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona.
WTF1 is one of the fastest-growing media brands in motorsport, with over 700,000 highly engaged followers and 12 million monthly video views across social platforms. The partnership with GPVWC Simracing and the Superleague will link up two brands that are reaching out to a young, passionate crowd of racing fans and will add the most realistic esports racing series in the world to the offering of WTF1.

The newly rebranded WTF1 Superleague will receive prominent coverage on WTF1, with live broadcasts on WTF1's Facebook page, weekly highlights and innovative content on their YouTube and Facebook pages that will bring additional exposure to the teams and drivers competing in the Championship.

Will Ponissi, Managing Director of GPVWC Simracing: "I am excited to start working with WTF1, one of the most recognisable brands in the motorsport online landscape. Like us, they are motorsport fans working for motorsport fans. WTF1 have been growing exponentially in the last few years and their fresh and irreverent approach reflects the same values we have at GPVWC Simracing. The WTF1 Superleague will position itself as a unique offering in the world of simracing and esports and I am looking forward to growing our brands together this season."

Tom Bellingham, Founder of WTF1: "Esports has exploded in popularity over the past year and especially in the world of motorsport. We've been looking for the perfect partnership to get directly involved in the industry and bring esports to the WTF1 audience. With GPWVC's experience and unique offering to both competitors and spectators, we definitely believe we've found what we've been looking for. Together, we're perfectly positioned to bring motorsport and esports closer to the people who matter most - the fans. This is only the beginning!"

About WTF1

WTF1 was founded in 2010 by motorsport enthusiast Tom Bellingham. His vision was to serve and connect with a new generation of motorsport fans who engage purely on social media. The brand is now widely respected, recognised and loved by its fans including industry influencers, Formula 1 teams and drivers such as Daniel Ricciardo, Esteban Ocon and Damon Hill.

The brand was acquired by Car Throttle - the largest automotive social publisher - in 2017 and now sits within their enthusiast network, propelled by a team who live and breathe social content.
