Nordsjøen NR008

The Nordsjøen Racing NR008 is the 8th car build by Nordsjøen, to compete in the GPVWC Superleauge in 2015.

It will be driven by Agustin Canapino and Florian Geier, aswell as its test/reserve driver David Jundt.

Design

The cars design principles feature the classic Nordsjøen colours in a mordern look as mentioned in this article. [1]

Technical Specifications

The NR008 running the traditional blue,orange and white Nordsjøen Colours.

Chassis

The Chassis/Mod itself is begin used for the 3rd straight year with minor changes begin visible as upgrades are begin put onto the car.

It has a Base Weight of 630kg.

Engine

The Engine used is the Martex_Technologies MX-03 wich in its Base Package produces 732HP at 18000rpm. Its Max Torque is 306,5Nm wich is produced at 16000rpm.

Other

Both Transmission and Fuel/Oil are made&deliverd by GPVWC and therfore supply every team with the same Material.

2015

Testing

The NR008 made its debut in a interim livery at the Nürburgring on January 29th.

The NR008 in interim colours in its Season debut during Preseason.

Agustin Canapino lead the way as can be seen in this Article [2]. Pre Season Test 2 saw Florian Geier take 4th with teammate Canapino absent from this test and begin replaced by test and reserve driver David Jundt. More can be read in this Article [3].

The 3rd test was once again lead by Canapino who showed great form early on in testing, more about the test from Sepang here [4]. The Final Test took place at Jerez in wich Agustin once again finished in a very good P2. More from Pre Season test 4 here [5].

2015 Season

The Season Opener at Melbourne saw the NR008 qualify P3(Canapino) and P16(Geier). The Race got Red-flagged about 20 laps before the End wich gave Canapino his first Podium in GPVWC and Nordsjøens first since Canada 2013. Florian Geier finished P9 after a nice comeback drive. Nordsjøen is currently a tied 2nd in the Constructors Table with 23 Points.
