As 2018 has ended and 2019 has started, its a good time to reflect on Shift Gear Racing's first year in GPVWC.

The team experienced some strong results throughout their first season with Irishman, Luke Maguire picking up the team's first victory in Baku at the start of the season.

Ross Woodford - Shift Gear Racing FC Driver
"I really didn't know what to expect from this season. Until a few days before China I didn't even know I would be filling in for Luke, eventually moving into Miguel's seat after he was forced to pull out for personal reasons. From there on in it was a complete wild ride. From the heights of Monaco to the lows of Germany, I don't think I have lived up to my potential. The season finale in Abu Dhabi proved that perfectly, with my standard "Turn up to do my first laps about an hour before the race" really showing in the whole weekend. I'm heading into next year with a point to prove, and whether it be with Shift Gear once again or with another team, I intend to prove to everyone on the grid I can challenge for championships"

Christopher Rabey - Shift Gear Racing Owner
"I think the team had a very strong first season, it was great to always be in the mid-field and seeing the team develop over the course of the year. I am very excited for 2019 and I hope the consistency continues in Supercup. The challenge will be just as hard, if not even harder and we need to step up our game to be contenders for points. The off season is time to reflect on the season, what we did wrong and what we did right and how we can be as strong as possible come the first test in February.

The team will race in GPVWC Supercup in 2019 with their driver line-up still yet to be confirmed.
